Fin Whale
This whale is the 2nd biggest mammal in the oceans and on the planet. The largest mammal is the blue whale. Commercial whalers have hunted the fin whale close to extinction for their meat and oil. These whales have also been placed on the endangered list due to losses driven by changes in their environments, including climate change and toxicity.
Red Panda
There are now fewer than 10,000 of these pandas left. The red panda is on the endangered list mostly because of threats posed to its environments. Climate change has had a negative impact on their habitats, driving the loss of populations.
